Sportsbook.com and Mazda announce partnership for the 2005 American Le Mans Series

Braselton, GA, April 8, 2005 -This week Sportsbook.com kicks off a sponsorship agreement with Mazda to sponsor the Mazda/Courage/B-K Motorsports team entry in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) for the 2005 season.

ALMS is the US version of the internationally famous 24 hours of LeMans in France, adding an American accent to sports car endurance racing. ALMS events feature multi-class racing among the top drivers and teams in the world. The ALMS is holding 10 North American events in 2005.

‘Sportsbook.com teamed up with Mazda and BK Motorsports to provide American motor sports fans with really exceptional racing: this isn’t some simple oval, but hard-core, high speed endurance racing on the most challenging tracks in the country.’ said Alex Czajkowski, Marketing Director, Sportsbook.com. ‘Bringing together companies that are dominant in their own industries, this sponsorship creates synergies that will not only help both parties, but will help grow quality auto racing in the US.’

Mazda is returning to the ALMS after eight seasons with drivers Guy Cosmo and Jamie Bach. The former Star Mazda Series Team is entering an LMP2 Courage-Mazda C65.

Jamie Bach has had a successful career racing for Mazda, including several wins in both the 2001 and 2002 Formula Mazda Central Division, and the Star Mazda Series North American Championship events.

Guy Cosmo’s career highlights include the 2004 Grand Am Cup Series, BGB Motorsports and 2004 Development Driver in the Star Mazda Pro Series Test. He has also had several podium finishes and wins for the Grand American Rolex, Grand-Am Cup and American Le Mans Series Debut in 2003.

‘The team and drivers are excited to bring Mazda back to the top level of North American sports car racingÖand we have Sportsbook.com to thank! The customer profile of Sportsbook and Mazda are very much aligned and scream ZOOM-ZOOM.
