September 13, 2005 – Today, bodoglife.com announced it will be donating money collected from its Blackjack game in the Bodog Casino to help victims recovering from the disastrous effects of Hurricane Katrina.
For each Player Blackjack hit in the Bodog Casino on Friday, September 16, Bodog will give $1 to the Hurricane Katrina Red Cross relief fund, up to a maximum of $10,000. It is the second time the online entertainment giant has announced a charitable endeavor to aid hurricane relief efforts. Last week, the Bodog Poker Room held five charity poker tournaments and gave all proceeds collected to the Red Cross relief fund.
