Colts Continue March to Perfection

November 30, 2005 (New York, NY) – The Indianapolis Colts added more folks to their bandwagon this week with a convincing thumping of Bill Cowher’s Pittsburgh Steelers. Colts fans expect their team to defeat the Cardinals in their final game of the season and are preparing for an Unbeaten Season Party December 1st after the Colts finish 16-0.

While everyone seemed to expect as much from Dunge’s troops, the physical nature that the Colts displayed in Monday night’s win was impressive. Their so called small defensive front handled the Steelers vaunted running game and sent a message out loud and clear that all roads lead to Indy this year.

The Colts now welcome 3-8 Tennessee to the firing line and after disposing of McNair and his mates will head to Jacksonville for a huge division match. In order to enjoy the type of success that Indy has this year, it helps when you get some good bounces. Indy received a big break Sunday when Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich broke his ankle and now they will face backup David Garrard when they visit Florida.

“The Chargers will be a test in week fourteen,” predicts SportingbetUSA Manager Tony Delgado. “Tomlinson and Gates will be a handful, but their defense is suspect. Seattle will get smacked around at home in week fifteen and then the celebration will begin after they clip the Cardinals wings.”

In 1972 the Miami Dolphins went 14-0 on the regular season and the last game of the season ironically enough came against the Colts who then hailed from Baltimore. The game would be the last for perennial all star quarterback Johnny Unitas and the final score was 16-0 while Peyton Manning wears number 16 and the Colts will finish 16-0.

It has been 33 years since an NFL team has gone unbeaten. SportingbetUSA.com is keeping very busy taking bets on whether or not the Colts will do it this year. Odds will be updated Wednesday morning.

“I’d check the proposition bets that are posted on December 1st,” says handicapper Bob Acton of Ultimate Capper. “Number 33 on Indy is Dominic Rhodes and if SportingbetUSA offers odds on him to score, I’d jump all over it”!
